Juddmonte racing manager Lord Teddy Grimthorpe has announced that superstar filly Enable will ship to Kentucky to contest the Breeders' Cup Turf, according to racingpost.com on Twitter. The two-time winner of the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe had a late start to her 2018 campaign, and has made just two starts this year including her Arc triumph by a short neck.
“No decisions on her future will be made until after the race,” said Grimthorpe.
Enable has won nine of her 10 career starts, and is currently on a streak of eight wins in a row. Her major victories include two editions of the Arc, the Yorkshire Oaks, the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes, the Irish Oaks, and the Investec Oaks.
Trainer John Gosden has twice finished second in the Breeders' Cup Turf, with Golden Horn in 2015 and The Fugue in 2013.
