Chamberlain Bridge worked a half-mile in :50 3/5 on the turf at Churchill Downs Saturday morning in preparation for defense of his Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint title, according to The Blood-Horse. The 7-year-old War Chant gelding worked strongly through the wire, galloping out five furlongs in 1:04 3/5.
Chamberlain Bridge, trained by Bret Calhoun, finished third in his last start, the 5-furlong Turf Monster Handicap Sept. 5 at Parx Racing.
