Wildcat Brief to Stand in Pennsylvania for 2015

Wildcat Brief, a Grade 1 grandson of leading sire-of-sires Storm Cat, will stand the 2015 breeding season at Foxfield Farm in Oxford, Pennsylvania.

A son of multiple graded stakes winner Forest Wildcat and out of Grisham, a daughter of 1996 Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Grindstone, Wildcat Brief was a 6-time winner of $340,570. Stakes-placed as a three-year-old, Wildcat Brief won the Icecapade Stakes at Monmouth Park and ran third in the Grade 1 Vosburgh Stakes at four. Wildcat Brief consistently ran 6 furlongs in 1:09 and lifetime he won or placed in five stakes.

From a deep blacktype family, his second dam is a daughter of Sham and his third dam is Majestic Street, a daughter of 1969 Kentucky Derby hero Majestic Prince.


Wildcat Brief will stand for $1,500 live foal stands and nurses as the property of Mr. and Mrs. Frank R. Vento. Wildcat Brief's first foals are weanlings of 2014.
