Justify's first foal is a filly out of the Exchange Rate mare Foreign Affair.

The first official foal reported for Triple Crown champion Justify is a filly born to Foreign Affair, according to a post on Audley Farm's Facebook Page.

Foreign Affair, a winning daughter of Exchange Rate, was sold to Audley Farm with the Justify filly in utero for $385,000 at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall Mixed sale. Foreign Affair is a half sister to So Perfect (Scat Daddy), a two-time Group 3 winner in Europe who ran second or third in four Group 1 races, earning over half a million dollars.

Justify won the Santa Anita Derby, Kentucky Derby, Preakness, and Belmont Stakes before retiring undefeated to stand at Coolmore. Trained by Hall of Famer Bob Baffert, the son of Scat Daddy was voted the 2018 Horse of the Year with racing earnings of $3,798,000.
