Love and Pride, a 10-year-old mare owned by Three Chimneys Farm in Versailles, Ky., will be on the roster of featured horses for the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame's Foal Patrol Season 2, which will debut online in December at

Bred in Kentucky by Stud TNT, Love and Pride was foaled on April 27, 2008 and was a $380,000 purchase at the 2010 Keeneland April 2-year-olds in training sale. A dark bay daughter of A.P. Indy out of the Storm Cat mare Ile de France, Love and Pride was trained by seven-time Eclipse Award winner Todd Pletcher.

Racing from 2011 through 2012, Love and Pride started 17 times with a record of 7-2-4 and earnings of $985,760. She broke her maiden in her first career start on May 17, 2011 at Delaware Park. Later that year, Love and Pride won her first stakes race, the Proud Spell at Saratoga. As a 3-year-old, she won the Affectionately Stakes at Aqueduct and the Grade 3 Obeah Stakes at Delaware before posting back-to-back Grade 1 victories in the Personal Ensign Handicap at Saratoga and the Zenyatta Stakes at Santa Anita. She concluded her career by finishing fifth behind the likes of Royal Delta and My Miss Aurelia in the Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classic at Santa Anita. At the 2013 Fasig-Tipton fall mixed sale, Love and Pride was purchased by Three Chimneys as a broodmare prospect for $4.9 million.

Love and Pride's first foal, a colt by Distorted Humor named Win With Pride, has won six of his 21 starts to earn just under $250,000 on the track. Her second, a colt by War Front named Alfarqad, just broke his maiden on Sept. 27 at Kempton Park.

The first season of Foal Patrol, a one-of-a-kind collection of live cameras following the daily activities of in-foal mares, had more than 1.6 million views from December 2017 through September 2018. The Museum will be making weekly announcements of the participating horses leading up to the debut of Season 2 in late December. Love and Pride is the third mare announced for Season 2, joining Comme Chez Soi at Old Tavern Farm in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and Hot City Girl at Edition Farm in Hyde Park, N.Y.
