The Retired Racehorse Training Project and New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program will once again promote adoption of Thoroughbred ex-racehorses in their educational Thoroughbreds For All event held after Rolex Kentucky on Friday, April 26, from 5:30-9 p.m.

The event will be held at West Wind Farm at 4787 Haley Rd., Lexington, Ky., 40516.

The evening begins with a southern-style dinner and cash bar followed by educational and entertaining sessions that include selecting the right Thoroughbred for the job and how to work with off-the-track Thoroughbreds.

Among the event's speakers are Olympic gold medal winning eventer Phillip Dutton and Hall of Fame jockey Chris McCarron. Well-known eventers will also be on hand to evaluate incoming horses to the New Vocations program. All sessions will be moderated by Steuart Pittman of RRTP and Anna Ford of New Vocations.

Included with the ticket purchase is a tour of Robert N. Clay's Three Chimneys Farm near Midway, Ky., on the morning of April 28 before Rolex show jumping.

All proceeds from this event will benefit the RRTP and New Vocations, which are both helping ex-racehorses transition into new homes with new careers.

The event is limited to 300 people. Tickets are $35 and can purchased by clicking here.
