Champion racemare Tepin, winner at both the Breeders' Cup and Royal Ascot, gave birth to a filly by Curlin on May 1, according to horseracingnation.com. Purchased for $8 million by Coolmore at the Fasig-Tipton November sale, Tepin was sent to Ireland to foal.

Coolmore also confirmed that the mare, a daughter of Bernstein, has been bred to Galileo and is in foal.

Over the course of her career, Tepin made $4.4 million in winning 13 of her 23 starts. She had been expected to race on in 2017 for owner Robert Masterson and trainer Mark Casse, but an episode of colic pushed her into retirement.
