The catalogue for the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale, which takes place October 24th – 27th, is out now and can be viewed online at www.tattersalls.com. Numbering 1476 lots, the Autumn Horses in Training Sale is the largest sale of its type in the world and features significant consignments from many of the world's leading owner/breeders including Ballydoyle Stables, Darley, Juddmonte Farms and Shadwell Estates.

All of the current top 20 British flat trainers have consignments, including Richard Hannon, John Gosden, Sir Henry Cecil, Richard Fahey, Sir Michael Stoute, Mark Johnston, Kevin Ryan and Mick Channon, as do leading Irish trainers Aidan O'Brien, Jim Bolger, Dermot Weld, John Oxx, David Wachman, Jessie Harrington and Ger Lyons as well as 2011 Derby winning trainer Andre Fabre.

The largest consignment comes from Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum's Shadwell Stud and numbers 76 lots while Juddmonte Farms, another consistent source of high class gradutes of the sale, has 57 catalogued. The largest team from an individual trainer is the 69 strong consignment coming from Champion trainer Richard Hannon's East Everleigh Stables. Amongst the probable Hannon highlights is the high class Group 3 winning sprinter MONSIEUR CHEVALIER who was a gallant second to SOCIETY ROCK in the Group 1 Golden Jubilee at this year's Royal Ascot. Smart two year olds are always a feature of the Hannon consignment and few will be more sought after than TELL DAD whose prize money earnings are £228,334 having won the £200,000 Tattersalls Millions Median Auction and finished second to stable companion COUPE DE VILLE in the recent £500,000 Tattersalls Millions 2YO Trophy.

The Ballydoyle consignment is another that always attracts plenty of attention and this year's team numbers 45 lots and features a dozen Group/Listed performers including recent Group 3 Diamond Stakes winner FREEDOM and smart three year olds MARKSMANSHIP and JACKAROO, both rated 115 by 'Timeform'.

Eyecatching older horses include the dual Group 1 winner KINGSGATE NATIVE, consistent multiple Group 3 winner BEACON LODGE, Group 3 wining sprinter TRIPLE ASPECT, the smart Group 3 middle distance performer HOT PROSPECT, recent Listed winner HUMIDOR and Cesarewitch winner NEVER CAN TELL.

Commenting on the 2011 Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale, Tattersalls Chairman Edmond Mahony said;

“The Autumn Horses in Training Sale is always one of the most cosmopolitan fixtures of the Tattersalls sales season and this year's catalogue looks set to attract the customary large cross section of buyers from throughout the world. Last year's 2000 Guineas winner MAKFI – bought for 26,000 guineas – still stands out as the outstanding example of quality and value for money to be found at the sale, and the likes of Group 1 King's Stand Stakes winner PROHIBIT as well as Australian Group 1 winners MY KINGDOM OF FIFE and STAND TO GAIN have flown the flag high in 2011.”

The 2011 Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale begins at 9.30am on Monday 24th October. The catalogue is available directly from Tattersalls and all Tattersalls overseas representatives.
