Two fillies breezed an eighth of a mile in 10 seconds flat on Tuesday afternoon to lead the first session of the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-year-olds in training under tack show in Timonium, Md. The under tack show will continue with two more sessions on Wednesday and Thursday, with the sale scheduled for May 22-23.
- Hip 24, a filly from Take Charge Indy's first crop, is consigned by Wavertree Stables. She is out of a winning Johannesburg mare who is a full sister to Teuflesburg.
- Hip 80 is a daughter of Cape Blanco consigned by Grassroots Training and Sales. She is out of the unraced Secret Island (Cat Theif), dam of four other foals, all winners.
Additionally, a pair of juveniles also recorded a quarter-mile breeze in :21 2/5 to be the fastest on the afternoon:
- Hip 34 is a filly by Into Mischief consigned by Wes Carter as agent. She is out of Pooh Corner, a winning daughter of Tapit.
- Hip 109, Hi Ho Silver, is a son of Old Fashioned consigned by Crane Thoroughbreds. He is a Pennsylvania-bred out of a winning daughter of Stormy Atlantic, and he is a half-brother to a stakes-placed runner.
