Songbird Among Top Mares Pronounced In Foal To Arrogate

Juddmonte Farms released a list of some of the exceptional mares that have been pronounced in foal to first-year stallion Arrogate, the champion 3-year-old male of 2016 who retired to stud this year with record career earnings of $17,422,600.

Counted among the mares in foal to the son of Unbridled's Song are:

–Two-time champion and nine-time Grade 1 winner Songbird;

–Multiple G1 winner and Eclipse Award finalist Paulassilverlining;

–Perfectforthepart, the dam of G1 Del Mar Debutante winner Sunset Glow;

–Lucas Street, the dam of G1 Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint winner Wavell Avenue;

–G1 winner Centre Court;

–Sortilege, the dam of G1 winner Sailor's Valentine;

–G1 Kentucky Oaks (G1) winner Plum Pretty;

–Champion and G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Winner She Be Wild;

–G1 winner Lady Of Fifty.

Winner of the Longines World's Best Racehorse Award, Arrogate was bred in Kentucky by Clearsky Farms, raced for Juddmonte and was trained by Bob Baffert. He won seven of 11 career starts, including the G1 quartet of the Travers, Breeders' Cup Classic, inaugural Pegasus World Cup and the Dubai World Cup.
