Rockridge Stud Announces 2020 Stud Fees, Stallion Show

Leofric beats out Bravazo at the line to win the Clark Handicap

Rockridge Stud in Hudson, N.Y. has released its roster's advertised fees for the 2020 breeding season, led by newcomer Leofric at $7,500.

Leofric, a 7-year-old son of Candy Ride, won eight of 15 starts during his on-track career for earnings of $951,040. Highlighting his resume were wins in the Grade 1 Clark Handicap, the G2 Fayette Stakes, and the G3 West Virginia Governor's Stakes.

Also new to the Rockridge Stud roster for 2020 is Disco Partner, an 8-year-old Disco Rico horse who will stand for $5,000. The turf sprint specialist won 11 of 33 starts for $1,487,560, led by a pair of victories in the Jaipur Invitational Stakes, once as a Grade 2 and once as a Grade 3.

Frank Conversation, a Grade 2-winning son of Quality Road, will also stand for $5,000 in the coming season. His first foals will arrive this year.

A stallion show and open house will take place on Saturday, Jan. 25, from noon to 2 p.m. A full lunch buffet will be served, in addition to drawings for free seasons to each stallion.
