A dual Group 1 winner in Australia, Pride of Dubai will be reverse shuttling to Coolmore Stud's Irish headquarters for the 2017 breeding season, according to bloodhorse.com.
The son of Street Cry retired from racing in early 2016 after a career that saw him earn $1,031,441 from five starts. He won both the G1 William Hill Blue Diamond Stakes and the G1 Inglis Sires Produce Stakes, the only horse to do so. Bred by Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa al Maktoum, he was raced by the sheikh, Coolmore and the China Horse Club.
“He's an exceptionally good-looking horse with plenty of size and strength, he was a brilliant 2-year-old, and his pedigree is all about speed,” said David O'Loughlin, Coolmore director of sales.
