Arlington Million winner Paradise Creek dies

The Japan Bloodhorse Breeders’ Association reports that Paradise Creek has died at age 22. Paradise Creek won eight of 11 starts during a brilliant 1994 U.S. racing season, which included wins in the Arlington Million and the Early Times Manhattan Handicap.  He stood at stud in Japan from 1995 to 2010.

Inglis wraps up with record-setting Street Sense colt

The Inglis Australian Easter yearling sale wrapped up Thursday with a Street Sense colt selling for $325,725, a second-session record.  Session two closed with 76 yearlings going for $6,130,511.  The clearance rate was 78%.
