The catalog for the 2019 Ohio Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Mixed Sale is now online, featuring 41 entries.
The auction will take place Sunday, Oct. 20 at Majestic Farm in Batavia, Ohio, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Eastern.
Making up this year's catalog are 20 yearlings, 15 weanlings, four broodmares or broodmare prospects, and a pair of 2-year-olds. All but one of the yearlings are Ohio-bred, with the lone exception being born in Florida.
Stallions whose first crops of yearlings represented in the catalog include Big Blue Kitten and Cinco Charlie, while War Correspondent has first-crop weanlings in the catalog.
The mixed sale will be immediately followed by a horses of racing age session, featuring horses ready to train on for the racetrack, or for a new sporting endeavor. The racing-age catalog will be available closer to the sale.
The auction will be handled by Duane Swingley Auctioneers.
