No Never No More, a son of Scat Daddy closely related to prominent young sire No Nay Never, will begin his stallion career at Winding Creek Farm in Union Bridge, Md.
The 3-year-old colt was unraced, owing to an early battle with Equine Protozoal Myeloencephalitis (EPM) that kept him from reaching the track.
Bred in Kentucky by Silver Meadow Farms, No Never No More is out of the unplaced Tiznow mare Whosetheclownnow. The dam is a half-sister to Cat's Eye Witness, who is herself the dam of No Nay Never, a graded or group stakes winner in three countries and also a son of Scat Daddy. La Violette, another sister to Whosetheclownnow, has produced a stakes-winner and stakes-placed runner by Scat Daddy.
The extended family includes G1 winners Tamarando and So Many Ways, G2 winners Event of the Year, Half a Year, and Winning Pact, and G3 winner Cat's Career.
“No Never No More was struck with EPM at an early age, causing irreversible injuries which prevented him from reaching the races,” said owner Irwin Olian. “He is a handsome, athletic individual with a lovely head and kind eye, exuding class as his pedigree would suggest.”
As a first-year incentive, No Never No More will be offered free to approved mares, with a $350 booking fee payable in advance.
“No Nay Never is standing at Coolmore in Ireland for an announced fee of 100,000 Euros for 2019,” Olian said. “Justify, another leading Scat Daddy son, is standing in Kentucky for an announced fee of $150,000. Mendelssohn is standing for $35,000. We believe No Never No More represents America's best stallion value for 2019, an opportunity to breed to a three-quarter brother to the leading son at stud of Scat Daddy, representing the hottest sire line in the world.”
