Juveniles By Medal Count, Calibrachoa, Greeley’s Galaxy Fastest At Equine Sales Co. Under-Tack Show

A trio of horses clocked the fastest furlong during Sunday's Equine Sales Co. 2-Year-Olds In Training And Horse Of Racing Age Sale, each covering the distance in :10 3/5 seconds.

The horses breezed at the Copper Crowne Training Center in Opelousas, La. Following are the three horses to earn the day's co-fastest time.

Hip 26, a first-crop Medal Count filly out of the stakes-placed Max's Pal mare Bella Moneta. All three of Bella Moneta's foals to race are winners, including stakes-placed Big Bella Brown and Beto. The Louisiana-bred is consigned by Ricky Courville Sales.

Hip 39, Southern Beauty, a Calibrachoa filly out of winning Yes It's True mare Isn't She Gorgeous. A Louisiana-bred half-sister to stakes-winner Yes Gorgeous, this filly hails from the family of champion Life's Magic and Grade 3 winners Spectacular Tide and Heckle. Pike Racing consigns Southern Beauty, as agent.

Hip 40, a Greeley's Galaxy colt out of the winning Afternoon Deelites mare Just Alex. The extended family for the Louisiana-bred includes G1 winner Taylor's Special and Italian G3 winner Golden Titus. Boutte Sales consigns the filly, as agent.

The auction will take place Tuesday, April 2, beginning at 11 a.m. Central.
