Top sprinter Lethal Force will join the stallion ranks at Cheveley Park Stud beginning in 2014, it was reported in the Racing Post.

The 4-year-old son of Dark Angel has been one of the best sprinters in England this season, having notched victories in the Diamond Jubilee (Eng-I) and Darley July Cup (Eng-I). Lethal Force was also second in the Prix Maurice de Gheest (Fr-I).

Lethal Force will continue to run for owner Alan Craddock and be trained by Clive Cox for the remainder of the year. The gray colt is scheduled to make his next start in the Betfred Sprint Cup (Eng-I) at Haydock Park Sept. 7.

One of two winners out of the Desert Style dam Land Army, Lethal Force hails from the family of black-type sprinters Ascot Family and Flanders, who is the second dam of G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf and Poule d'Essai des Pouliches (Fr-I) heroine, Flotilla.
