Glen Hill Farm's Global View, winner of the G2 American Turf Stakes as a 3-year-old, has been purchased by Ascot Stud in South Africa and will take up stallion duties in time for the upcoming breeding season.

The Racing Post reports that the 4-year-old son of Galileo was bred by Reiko and Michael Baum in Kentucky, and was purchased by Glen Hill Farm for $500,000 at the 2012 Keeneland September Yearling sale.

Out of the unraced Storm Cat mare Egyptian Queen, Global View also won the G3 Generous Stakes and was second in both the Penn Mile and Harry F. Brubaker Stakes during his racing career.
