First Foal Is A Filly For Pennsylvania Stallion Eastwood

The first foal by Pennsylvania stallion Eastwood: A filly out of the Bear's Kid mare I'm Just Sayin.

Graded stakes-placed Eastwood (by Speightstown) sired his first foal Jan. 20 when winner, I'm Just Sayin (by Bear's Kid), produced a bay filly for owner/breeder Martina Rojas.

Eastwood stands at Diamond B Farm in Mohrsville, Penn., for an advertised fee of $2,500.

He won four of 12 starts during his on-track career for earnings of $265,545. Among his most notable efforts was a runner-up effort in the Grade 3 Los Angeles Stakes at Santa Anita Park.

Eastwood is out of the unplaced Deputy Minister mare Fifth Avenue Ball, from the family of stakes winners Our Shopping Spree, Shop Till You Drop, and In Rome.
