Eclipse Champion Lookin At Lucky Sires First Winner

Freshman sire Lookin At Lucky was represented by his first winner on May 16 at Gulfstream when Lucky'stormwarning came home victorious in the the third race, a 4 1/2 maiden special weight.

A winner of more than $3 million in prize money, Lookin At Lucky was an Eclipse champion in both his 2-year-old and 3-year-old seasons. He won five Grade 1 races, including the Preakness Stakes, in which he defeated Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver.

Lucky'stormwarning is out of Happybirthdaygirl, by Tactical Advantage. She is owned by a partnership that includes members of the Coolmore operation, trained by Wesley Ward, and was ridden by Manoel Cruz.

Lookin At Lucky stands at Ashford Stud in Versailles, Kentucky, for $15,000.
