The dark bay or brown colt is out of Toasttofriendship, by Salt Lake, a half sister to stakes placed Sweet Storm Creek.
Hip No. 83, Yes She's Wild, a yearling filly by Yes It's True consigned by Montgomery Equine Center, Agent, was sold for $55,000 to Blue River Bloodstock. The bay filly is out of stakes placed Wildcard Cat, by Forest Wildcat, a daughter of stakes winner Clever Kat.
Hip No. 115, a Congrats filly consigned by Summerfield (Francis & Barbara Vanlangendonck), Agent, was sold to Stoney Lane Farm for $48,000. The dark bay or brown yearling filly is out of Countess Avie, by Lord Avie, a half sister to stakes winnerTexas Red.
Hip No. 100, a colt by Congrats consigned by Peacock Ridge, Agent, went to Twin Peaks Racing for $40,000. The yearling bay colt is out of Bird Up, by Wagon Limit, a half sister to stakes placed Kennel Up.
For the session, 113 horses sold for a total of $1,399,400, compared with 92 horses grossing $900,000 at the corresponding session in 2010. The average price was $12,384, up 26.6% from $9,783 last year, while the median price soared to $9,000, up 76% from $5,100 in 2010. The buyback percentage was 30.7%; it was 33.3% last year.
