A pair of colts, one by Songandaprayer and another by Macho Uno, recorded the fastest times at Friday's under tack show for the Barretts Selected March Sale of 2-year-olds in training. The sale, to be held at Fairplex Park in Pomona, Calif., begins at 6 p.m. on Monday night.

Hip 105, the Songandaprayer colt out of Justaspell, by Johannesburg, is from the consignment of Callaway Thoroughbreds and was purchased at the Keeneland September yearling sale for $10,000 last year.  The colt by Macho Uno (Hip 126) is consigned by Eddie Woods.  Out of the Storm Cat mare My Goodness, he was purchased from that same Keeneland sale for $90,000.

Among the graduates of past Barretts sales are such 2011 or 2012 stakes winners as sprint champion Amazombie, multiple G1 winner The Factor, Japanese G1 winners Suni and Testa Matta, and Graded stakes winners, Awesome Gem, Harissa, Henny Hound (Japan), Jeranimo, Juniper Pass, Kensei, Stoney Fleece, Twice the Appeal and Frumious.
