Multiple graded stakes winner Chips All In has been retired after suffering a “minor injury” during a workout on June 26, according to a Salt Lake Tribune report.

The 5-year-old horse earned over $450,000 for owners Dan Valdez, Jean Everest, John O'Brien and Michelle Turpin under the direction of trainer Jeff Mullins. The horse won the Grade 3 Eddie D. Stakes, Grade 3 San Simeon Stakes, and the Pasadena, and also ran in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint in 2013.

“He's done more than we ever thought he would and we want to do what's right by him,” Valdez said.
