Cairo Prince, Daredevil Juveniles Top Third Day Of Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Under-Tack Show

The third and final day of the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-Year-Olds In Training Sale under-tack show finished with a pair of horses tied for the fastest time at a quarter-mile, bringing the final total for the sale to eight.

The horses breezed over the dirt track at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, Md. Following are Thursdays fastest workers at a quarter-mile.

Hip 424, a Cairo Prince filly who is the first foal out of the stakes-placed Posse mare Rico's Posse. Consigned by de Meric Sales, agent, the filly hails from the family of Puerto Rican champion Srta. Aleidy C.

Hip 445, a first-crop Daredevil colt who is the first foal out of the winning Indian Charlie mare Seattle Charlie. Grade 1 winner Intensive Command and G3 winner Something Ventured are on his page. Richardson Bloodstock consigns the colt, as agent.

Four horses tied for the day's fastest effort at an eighth of a mile, each hitting the mark at :10 seconds flat. Thursday's group of workers brought the total number of :10-flat breezers for the sale to five.

Hip 476, a Violence filly out of the winning Not For Love filly Significant Other, whose six winners from seven starters includes stakes winner Marriedtothemusic. The New York-bred hails from the family of G2 winners Bay to Bay and Mach Ride, and G3 winners J J's Lucky Train and Whimsy. Crupi's New Castle Farm consigns the filly, as agent.

Hip 535, a first-crop The Big Beast filly out of the winning Exchange Rate mare Therese, whose two foals to race are both winners. Consigned by Wavertree Stables, agent, the Florida-bred's page includes G2 winner Hesabull, G3 winner Mr. Impatience, and Puerto Rican champion Tio Juan.

Hip 574, a Flatter colt out of the stakes-placed Salt Lake mare Veronica's Lake, whose two foals to race are both winners. Canadian chamoions Dance Smartly, Sky Classic, Regal Classic, and Grey Classic are in the extended family. Sequel Bloodstock consigns the colt, as agent.

Hip 590, a first-crop Wicked Strong filly who is the first foal out of the winning Flatter mare With Wonder. Consigned by Bobby Dodd, agent, the filly's page features G3 winners Faliraki and E-Fuel.

The Fasig-Tipton Midlantic sale takes place May 21-22, with each session beginning at 11 a.m. Eastern.
