Calidoscopio wins the G2 Brooklyn Hdcp. in his last start

Ageless wonder Calidoscopio, winner of both the G2 Breeders' Cup Marathon and G2 Brooklyn Handicap, will begin his stud career at Haras la Quebrada in Argentina, the Racing Post reports.

The 10-year-old son of Luhuk will stand alongside his sire at Haras la Quebrada. Other stallions on the roster include Indygo Shiner, Mutakddim, and Stay Thirsty. Scat Daddy was also scheduled to stand the southern hemisphere season at the farm, but returned to Ashford Stud after suffering from dehydration.

Last November, Calidoscopio became the first South American-trained horse to win a Breeders' Cup race with his sharp score in the Marathon. In June, the talent horse charged from close to 20 lengths back to win the Brooklyn Handicap going away.

A stud fee hasn't been announced.
