Popular Australian runner Miss Vista, who attracted a large following of fans due to her flashy markings, was euthanized Monday morning due to “irreparable issues with her feet”.
As Racing.com reported, the news was first posted on the 5-year-old mare's Facebook page.
The daughter of Show A Heart was a talented sprinter, and had won four of 10 starts during her brief racing career. Miss Vista endured several interruptions in racing over the years due to the problems with her feet.
Miss Vista, who was nicknamed ‘Baldy' by her connections, raced as a homebred for Dick Karreman and was trained by George Osborne.
