Coolmore's Ashford Stud had three stallions in the top five on the list of 2010 progeny earnings for North America-based sires.
Fusaichi Pegasus and Giant's Causeway led the way with more than $11 million each in earnings by their runners. Ashford's Tale of the Cat also made the top five.
Third on the list was Vinery Stud's More Than Ready with over $10 million in on-track earnings. Pluck's victory in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf boosted More Than Ready's total and helped make Vinery the top producer of two-year-olds by winnings. Vinery also had the leading freshman sire in Congrats, who had 60 starters earning 1.6 million in 2010.
