XBTV Offering On-Site Coverage From Around The Racing World On Saturday

Saturday will be a busy day for XBTV.com, with live on-site coverage from five different racetracks, beginning at 6:30 a.m. EDT and continuing well into the evening.

The live coverage kicks off at 6:30 a.m. from Meydan racecourse in Dubai, where Michelle Yu will be on the scene for a nine-race program culminating with the Group 1 Dubai World Cup at 12:50 p.m. EDT. That race features champion mare Forever Unbridled making her final career start against 2017 3-year-old champion male West Coast, runner-up to Gun Runner in the Pegasus World Cup in his last start.

The day kicks off with the the G2 Godolphin Mile, at 7:45 a.m. EDT. In between that and the Dubai World Cup there are several races of interest to American horseplayers and fans, including the G2 UAE Derby (9:30 a.m. EDT), in which Mendelssohn hopes to get points to qualify for the Kentucky Derby (100 points go to the winner, with 40 to second).

Two G1 sprints, the Al Quoz on turf and Golden Shaheen on dirt, will feature several U.S. runners, including sprint champion Roy H in the latter event.

At 11 a.m. EDT, XBTV will begin their live coverage from Gulfstream Park of the G1 Florida Derby program. Richard Migliore and Christina Bossinakis will be on-site, with reports from Acacia Courtney and Jason Blewitt throughout the day.

At noon, XBTV will begin on-site coverage from Laurel, with Stan Salter.

At 2:30 p.m. EDT, Aaron Vercruysse, Jeff Siegel, Zoe Cadman and Megan Devine will begin live coverage from Santa Anita.

At 2:45 p.m. EDT, Millie Ball and special guest Aaron Gryder will provide live on-site coverage from Golden Gate Fields.

Throughout the week, XBTV will offer free video-on-demand content, including: works, debate shows, wagering strategies, and exclusive interviews.

XBTV.com will also show the post position draw for the Florida Derby, beginning at 11:15 a.m. EDT Wednesday.
