With just five weeks remaining until the 2018 Breeders' Cup World Championships, qualifying contests for the $1 million Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge (BCBC) are in high gear with four berths into the largest live-money handicapping contest in the world at stake this weekend, highlighted by Sunday's (Sept. 30) tournament which has a super low qualifying ratio (1 per 5) and a $2,300 entry fee. The winners of this weekend's featured contests will receive a free $10,000 berth into the BCBC, which will take place on Nov. 2-3 at Churchill Downs, select satellite sites and participating ADWs.

The third contest is the finals of a two-round qualifier that has been running all month long on Horseplayers. Players have been playing in $132 Round 1 Qualifiers to earn a spot in the Round 2 finals, which carries a $1,165 entry fee and 1 per 10 qualifying ratio. Feeder contests are available for all qualifying contests. Varying in entry fee based on the qualifier's entry fee, all feeders award one seat into the respective qualifying contest for every 10 entries in the feeder.
