With $309,456 in 'new' money helping to sweeten the pot, Sunday's 20 cent Single Ticket Pick Six Jackpot at Santa Anita featured a total pool of $842,151, which helped to provide a consolation payout for six winners of $1,206.60 on 137 separate tickets. Dating back to opening day, Dec. 26, the daily consolation payout in the 20 cent Rainbow Six Jackpot has averaged $11,719.50 through nine racing days.
There were again no single ticket winners on Sunday, so a Jackpot carryover of $603,541 will await players on Thursday at Santa Anita. With a nine-race card in the offing and first post time set for 12:30 p.m., Thursday's Rainbow Six will begin with race four, which has an approximate post time of 2 p.m. PT.
