Sky Racing World (SRW) is bringing the Singapore Airlines International Cup race meeting to the Americas this Sunday.
SRW's partnership with the Singapore Turf Club will see the S$3 million 2015 Singapore Airlines International Cup (SAIC) and eight other races delivered to its wagering partners across the Americas.
SRW will offer coverage of the Singapore meeting from Race 3 (post time 4:10am EDT) through Race 11 (post time 9:35am EDT) on Sunday 17 May.
In addition to the SAIC, highlights of meeting include the KrisFlyer International Sprint (Race 9 with a post time of 7:50am EDT) and the Singapore Airlines International Sprint (Race 10 with a post time of 8:40am EDT).
The wagering pools for the event will be hosted by Premier Gateway International (PGI), which is a joint venture between Tabcorp and Africa's largest betting company, Phumelela Gaming.
Sky Racing World's Chief Executive Officer, David Haslett is thrilled with the announcement.
“The Singapore Airlines International Cup meeting is one of the premium race meetings on the Singapore calendar and we're delighted to bring it to the American market,” Mr Haslett said.
“I'm pleased Sky Racing World has been able to secure the partnership and we continue to grow our relationship with the Singapore Turf Club.”
Sky Racing World is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tabcorp. SRW distributes live Australian and New Zealand racing to wagering operators throughout the Americas seven days a week. Over 425 wagering locations throughout the Americas currently receive Australian/NZ racing from SRW.
Sky Racing World acquired the assets of Kentucky-based company, Wyvern in early 2014. Wyvern formerly marketed Australian and New Zealand racing in North America and the acquisition allowed Sky to take the reins in distributing Australian and New Zealand racing to that market.
