The 20-cent Rainbow 6 pool will be guaranteed at $2 million for Saturday's Sophomore Showcase program at Gulfstream Park.
The popular multi-race wager went unsolved for the 25th consecutive racing day of the 2019-2020 Championship Meet Friday, when multiple tickets with all six winners Friday were each worth $334.74.
The Rainbow 6 jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day's pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
Saturday's Rainbow 6 sequence will span Races 6-11, including five stakes for 3-year-olds on the Sophomore Showcase card, highlighted by the $100,000 Mucho Macho Man, the first stop on the Road to the Florida Derby, and the $100,000 Kitten's Joy (G3).
The $75,000 Limehouse, six-furlong dash; will kick off the Rainbow 6 sequence, followed by the Kitten's Joy, a 7 ½-furlong Grade 3 turf race;, the $75,000 Glitter Woman, a 6 ½-furlong sprint for fillies; the $100,000 Ginger Brew, a 7 ½-furlong turf race for fillies; and the Mucho Macho Man, featuring Florida Sire Stakes hero Chance It's return to action. The Rainbow 6 sequence will be closed out by a second-level optional claiming allowance at a mile on turf for 4-year-olds and up.
