Sam Houston Race Park in Houston, Texas

Saturday night at Sam Houston Race Park will card 10 races with a first post of 6:45 p.m., Central.

The Houston High Five is a jackpot wager with a carryover well over $40,000 going into the weekend. Also important to note, Sam Houston has a 12 percent takeout on multi-leg wagers.

Jockey and trainer titles remain up for grabs, as trainers Karl Broberg and Steve Asmussen battle at the top. DeShawn Parker and David Cabrera continue to win multiple races on the cards with an eye on the jockey title.

Next Saturday is the inaugural Texas Preview Day where the 2019 Texas-bred Horse of the Year Mr. Money Bags may be entered.

Here are Saturday's picks by Chris Griffin, the voice of Sam Houston Race Park, and Fred Faour, ESPN personality and expert handicapper, with comments on their top selections.
