For the 24th consecutive racing day, Santa Anita's popular 20 cent Single Ticket Rainbow Pick Six Jackpot went unsolved on Friday, resulting in a hefty Jackpot carryover of $895,108 into Saturday's nine-race program.
With $109,773 in “new” money wagered, today's total Rainbow Six pool reached $979,748 and although there was no Single Ticket winner, there were 81 consolation tickets with six winners, each worth $728.60.
Saturday's card will be highlighted by the Grade III, $150,000 Honeymoon Stakes and the Grade II, $200,000 Santa Maria Stakes, which have been carded as races seven and eight.
Approximate post time for Saturday's fourth race, the beginning of the Rainbow Six, is at 2:31 p.m. PT.
