With a mandatory payout in place on Sunday, Santa Anita's popular 20 cent Rainbow Pick Six Jackpot generated $5,297,955 in “new” money, creating a massive Jackpot pool of $6,558,165.
There were 1,664 winning tickets with six, each worth $3,187.60.
Winning numbers in Sunday's Rainbow Six, which began in race four, were 2-3-3-8-6 & 9.
Live racing will resume on Friday at Santa Anita, with first post time for an eight-race card at 1 p.m. General and Club House admission, as well as parking, are free on Friday and the track offers two dollar beers and six dollar Specialty Cocktails, sponsored by Woodford Reserve.
Santa Anita will offer simulcast wagering on Wednesday and Thursday, beginning each day in the Grandstand Paddock Room at 10 a.m. Admission and parking are free both days.
Closing day is a next Sunday, June 23, and there will be mandatory payouts in all exotic wagers, including the 20 cent Rainbow Pick Six Jackpot.
