A parade of longshots on Sunday at Santa Anita resulted in a hefty two-day Pick Six carryover of $311,096—and the expectation that Thursday's total Pick Six pool will exceed $1 million.
Santa Anita will offer an eight-race program on Thursday, with the Pick Six covering races three through eight. Barring late scratches, a total of 48 horses are set to compete in Thursday's “Six,” for an average of eight runners per race.
First post time on Thursday is at 1 p.m. and admission gates open 11 a.m. Fans are encouraged to visit santaanita.com for equipment changes, scratches, jockey changes and morning line information.
