Monmouth Park's final bundled stakes card of the year this Saturday (Sept. 28) – with all four stakes races the final legs of the MATCH series – will have the added inducement of carryovers in both the Pick 5 and the Jersey Shore Pick 6.
The stakes lineup for Saturday features the $100,000 Violet Stakes for fillies and mares 3 and up at a mile and a sixteenth on the grass; the $100,000 Rainbow Heir Stakes for 3 year olds and up at 5½ furlongs on the turf; the $100,000 Mr. Prospector Stakes for 3 year olds and up at six furlongs, and the $100,000 Regret Stakes for fillies and mares three and up at six furlongs.
Saturday's Pick 5 carryover, which starts in the first race, is $24,027 after it paid out for $216.45 for four of five winners on Sunday.
The Jersey Shore Pick 6, which requires a single winning ticket to take down the jackpot pool, stands at $28,329.
First race post time is 1:15 p.m. for the start of the final Saturday of live racing for the meet.
Following a card on Sunday, Sept. 29, Monmouth Park will race on Sundays only in the month of October, with all-turf cards shifting to the Meadowlands in East Rutherford on Fridays and Saturdays throughout October (with the exception of Saturday, Oct. 19, when racing shifts to Far Hills for a day of steeplechase events).
