One lucky bettor solved the 20-cent Rainbow 6 on Monday for a carryover jackpot payout of $24,250.10.
Two horses were live to take down the jackpot in the popular multi-race wager, which saw $9,925 wagered into the pool and included a carryover of $16,309.77. Sippy Cup ($12.60) was a runaway winner of the 10th race finale, completing the winning 6/7/1/6,8/2/9 combination that included dead-heat winners Bridge of Luck ($4.20) and Chateau de Vizille ($5.60) in the eighth.
The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 60 percent of that day's pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners while 40 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
There will be a carryover of $3,391.66 in the $1 Super Hi-5 when live racing resumes on Saturday, July 9. First race post time is 1:25 p.m.
