There will be carryovers in both the 20-cent Rainbow 6 and 50-cent Late Pick 5 greeting bettors when live racing resumes with a 10-race program Friday at Laurel Park.
First race post time is 1:10 p.m.
No one selected all six winners in the Rainbow 6 on Sunday, producing a carryover of $3,165.89 for the popular multi-race wager. Tickets with five of six winners returned $398.54.
Delightful Erin's $44.20 upset of favored Mothernaturespell in Sunday's finale also created a Pick 5 carryover of $3,173.40 for Friday. Tickets with four of five winners Sunday returned $48.05.
The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day's pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
Friday's Rainbow 6 will span Races 5-10 and includes the co-features, a $42,000 allowance for 3-year-olds and up going one mile on the main track in Race 8, and a $42,000 allowance for 3-year-olds and up going one mile on the Kelso Turf Course in Race 9.
The Late Pick 5 begins in Race 6.
