The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved for the 29th consecutive racing day Saturday at Gulfstream Park, producing a carryover jackpot of $888,014.88 for Sunday's program.
Multiple tickets Saturday with six winners were each worth $1,650.66.
The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day's pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
The Rainbow 6 was last solved July 6, when one lucky bettor hit for a $173,583.90 jackpot payoff.
Saturday's sequence generated a Rainbow 6 handle of $253,328. The carryover jackpot stood at $827,226 at the start of wagering on the popular multi-race wager.
Sunday's Rainbow 6 sequence will span Races 6-11, kicked off by a five-furlong maiden special weight race for 2-year-olds with a full field of 12 in Race 6 and highlighted by a 6 1/2-furlong optional claiming allowance for state-bred 3-year-olds and up in Race 10.
First-race post time Sunday is set for 1:15 p.m.
