The Rainbow 6 will offer a $497,629.11 carryover jackpot for Friday's 2:15 p.m. twilight program at Gulfstream Park.
The popular multi-race wager went unsolved for the 19th consecutive program Thursday, when multiple tickets with six winners were each worth $2.042.34.
The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day's pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
Friday's Rainbow 6 sequence will span Races 4-9. Race 7, a five-furlong optional claiming allowance on turf; Race 8, a 6 ½-furlong race for $15,000 claimers; and Race 9, a 7 ½-furlong maiden claimer on turf, will also be included in the Stronach 5 sequence as the second, fourth and fifth legs, respectively. Races 8 at Laurel will kick off the Stronach 5, while Laurel's Race 9 will be the third leg.
