The 20-cent Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot swelled to $688,149.38 for Thursday's 11-race program after going unsolved for the 11th straight program Wednesday at Gulfstream Park.
A total of $298,382 was wagered into the Rainbow 6 pool, adding to a carryover of $616,553 from Sunday's card. Multiple tickets with all six winners Wednesday each returned $1,917.10.
The popular multi-race wager was last hit Jan. 28, when the mandatory payout of a North American record $19.779 million pool produced multiple winning tickets worth $15,566.
The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day's pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
Thursday's Rainbow 6 spans Races 6-11 and includes back-to-back $51,000 allowances in Race 8 for fillies and mares 4 and up going one mile on the main track and Race 9 for 3-year-old fillies traveling 1 1/16 miles on the grass.
First race post time Thursday is 12:35 p.m.
