With more than $1.2 million on the line, there were three “live” tickets eligible to hit Santa Anita's highly coveted 20 cent Single Ticket Rainbow Pick Six Jackpot going into the final race on Sunday.  Of those three, all using three different longshots, 37-1 outsider Magnum Maduro came the closest, finishing third, beaten 5 ¾ lengths.

Thus, the stage is set for a Rainbow Six Jackpot carryover of $992,979 into Friday, day one of a special three-day closing week at Santa Anita.  With mandatory payouts the order of the day on closing day, Nov. 4, there's a good possibility fans will be greeted to a multi-million dollar Jackpot as the Autumn Meet draws to a close in seven days.

With a Rainbow Six Jackpot carryover of $912,155 coming into Sunday, $353,029 in “new money” was wagered, creating a total pool of $1,265,184.

Although there were no Single Ticket winners on Sunday, there were six tickets with six Rainbow winners, resulting in a hefty payout of $31,979 each.
