Arlington Million Card Offers Total Of $550,000 In Guaranteed Wagering Pools

Illinois Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association president Michael Campbell calls Arlington Park a "Thoroughbred racing gem that is treasured by the racing community worldwide. Yet if Churchill has its way, it will meet the same fate as Calder and Hollywood Park."

With a lucrative 12-race card offered up for Saturday's International Festival of Racing at Arlington Park, horseplayers will be treated to a bounty of wagering options including a total of $550,000 in Guaranteed Pick 3, Pick 4 and Pick 5 pools.

The All-Stakes Late Pick 4, comprised entirely of graded events, is guaranteed at $300,000 and will start in Race 9 with the Grade 1 Secretariat Stakes and continue through the Grade I Beverly D. and Arlington Million Stakes before concluding with the Grade III Pucker Up Stakes in Race 12.

The All-Stakes Late Pick 5 is guaranteed at $150,000 kicking off in Race 8 with the Bruce D. Memorial Stakes and ending in Race 12.

The All-Stakes Late Pick-3 (Races 9-11) is guaranteed at $100,000.

An impressive array of wagering options on the undercard includes the Early Pick 4 (Races 1-4), Early Pick 5 (Races 3-7), Mid Pick 4 (Races 5-8) and the Jackpot Pick 6 which starts in Race 7 and concludes in Race 12.  The nightcap, the Grade III Pucker Up Stakes which boasts a field of 13 turf routers, will feature Jackpot High 5 wagering including a carryover from Thursday of $16,792.

A wagering minimum of $0.50 is set for all Pick 3, Pick 4 and Pick 5 wagers, while the Pick 6 and Jackpot High 5 offer a $0.20 base.
