With no single winning ticket on Saturday, there is a 20 cent Single Ticket Pick Six Jackpot carryover of $662,512 into Sunday at Santa Anita.
There was $267,988 in “new money” bet into the Rainbow Six Saturday, creating a total pool of $869,148, which resulted in 62 winning tickets, each worth $2,326.90.
With a nine-race card on tap for Sunday, the Rainbow Six will begin with race four and run through race nine. Approximate post time for the fourth race is 2:05 p.m. PT.
Sunday's main event is the $70,000 Sunny Slope Stakes, which has been carded as the seventh race. The Sunny Slope, for 2-year-olds at 6 ½ furlongs, is headed by the Craig Lewis-conditioned Seven Scents, who drew the rail in a field of six and is the 8-5 morning line favorite.
With 52 horses entered in Sunday's Rainbow Six sequence, average field size stands at 8.6 runners per race.
