Course instruction during a Groom Elite class

A limited number of spots remain open for the Horse Behavior and Handling clinic presented by Groom Elite at Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington, Kentucky.

This clinic is designed to prepare participants to work with horses, with an emphasis on racehorses. For those that successfully complete this basic preparation, jobs are available at a track or at a local training facility or farm.

Nationally recognized equine educator and racehorse trainer C. Reid McLellan will teach Tuesday and Wednesday mornings June 4-5 beginning in the Keeneland Track Kitchen conference room at 8 AM and continuing until noon.

Cost for this unique experience is only $49. After lunch, participants will be free to enjoy the many equine (and other) opportunities in and around Lexington. Class size is limited so each participant has a chance to learn and practice under a combination lecture and hands on instruction format.

Those interested in this or any Groom Elite program are encouraged to go to www.groomelite.com for more information and to register. Anyone without internet access is invited to call Dr Mac at 859-321- 4377.
