One of the issues in racing that's gotten quite a bit of attention in 2018 is similar partnerships owning several horses in a race. Much was made of the subject after some questionable tactics in the Belmont Stakes.

Hand-in-hand with that, huge stables dominating the sport is another topic on the minds of many. Bill Finley of the Thoroughbred Daily News recently highlighted the issue in a two-part series.
