The Pennsylvania horse racing industry has received about $2 billion in casino revenue the past decade.

The Philadelphia Inquirer posted a scathing editorial this week, denouncing Pennsylvania's casino subsidies for the horse racing industry as “a staggering amount of corporate welfare.”
