The Paulick Report is on the grounds for the first day of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale and is pleased to offer a special print publication for the auction.

In this edition of the PR Special, bloodstock editor Joe Nevills continues his look at the roots of equine transportation, this time focusing on the historic firsts in air travel for the purpose of shipping Thoroughbreds.

The Stallion Spotlight turns its attention to Ashford Stud's European champion Air Force Blue, whose first crop of yearlings will see the auction ring at the Keeneland September sale. Dr. Wes Sutter then discusses the windows for corrective surgery in young horses headed to auction in Ask Your Veterinarian.

Parisian Diva is the subject of this issue's Honor Roll, presented by the Virginia Thoroughbred Association, with Ray Paulick talking to Maryland-based owner/breeder Melinda Golden about how she's benefitted from the Virginia-Certified program. Nevills then provides a list of yearlings to watch for the auction's first two sessions.
