Commissioner entered stud at WinStar Farm in 2016

The Paulick Report is pleased to introduce a new photo/video feature that will run every other week and will spotlight stallions standing in Kentucky.

The series, put together by our friends at EquiSport Photos, will feature stallions that are either just entering stud in 2016, or stallions that have not yet had their first crop reach the racetrack.

This week's spotlight stallion is Commissioner, a 5-year-old son of A.P. Indy that will be standing his first season in 2016 at WinStar Farm.

Commissioner flashed talent early in his racing career, breaking his maiden as a 2-year-old at Saratoga. The following season as a 3-year-old, Commissioner finished a close second in both the G1 Belmont Stakes and G2 Peter Pan.

Commissioner continued to improve as he got older, and had his best season as a 4-year-old, winning the G2 Hawthorne Gold Cup, G3 Pimlico Special, and G3 Skip Away Stakes.

We hope you enjoy our new feature, and we would once again like to thank our friends at EquiSport Photos for the great video.
